Insurance claims for vehicles, be it a car or two-wheeler, are entertained only if the damage is accidental, due to natural disasters, theft or accidental fire. Here are some reasons your claim could be rejected or not fully paid by your vehicle insurer.
Take the vehicle to the garage for repairs as soon as the accident happens. All bills issued by the garage need to be submitted to the insurance company. Once a claim is made, no-claim bonus applicable on the policy will not be available for the next renewal.
